Although I've been running for a number of years, I've only managed shorter distances recently and have been struggling to get the motivation to tackle a 10K. What greater spur than to do it for the Mary Frances Trust, a great charity that I've been proud to be involved with over the last 7 years. I love that many of the activities offered and supported by MFT are about getting out into nature and with other people, and the 15th Bluebell 10K on Sunday 4 May, organised by The Rotary Club of Leatherhead, gives me the chance to do just that, and raise money so we can keep looking at ways to help improve mental health and wellbeing.
