On Saturday 10 October, people around the world will come together for World Mental Health Day - a chance to talk openly about mental health and remind people that support is available.
The theme for this year's World Mental Health Day is "Lived Experiences: Real Voices, Real Change".
Here at Mary Frances Trust (MFT), we work every day to support people experiencing mental health challenges. We offer free mental health and emotional wellbeing support for Surrey residents aged 16+. For many of our services you don't need a clinical referral, but can self-refer via our website. We also employ staff with lived experience of mental health issues, and our services and activities are co-produced with people with lived experience to make sure that their voices are heard.
This World Mental Health Day we are inviting local businesses, community group and our supporters to Make Mental Health Matter by making a donation. By donating today, you are helping us to continue supporting people who need us tomorrow and beyond. Thank you.
"MFT has literally been a life saver for me as I suffer from numerous mental health issues."
